Select from Canyoning, Caving, Rock Climbing, Abseiling, Kayaking, Rafting, Orienteering, Alpine Trekking and Mountain Biking. We can tailor packages to suit your needs. Freedom hire mountain bikes for half or a full day. Late model mountain bikes including front suspension, helmets, water bottles and detailed trail maps are provided to set you on your way. Delivery and pick up service is available within the local Taupo area. Or take a tour and Mountain Bike the 'Crater Cruise' - no experience is necessary. Explore the unique surroundings of Craters of the Moon and build your riding skills on a variety of single tracks. This ride is tailored to your ability as you go. Guided trips range from 1_ to 3 hours. Or try a one-way or return trip following the Aratiatia Dam track from the Huka Falls bridge. See the Dam gates open then ride the track in reverse or take the shuttle back to town. This round trip takes about 2 hours. For a combination of thrills try the 'Ride n Raft' or 'Ride n Kayak' combinations. Ride a challenging scenic track and then kayak cruise down the mighty Waikato River or board a raft for 2 hours of breath taking white water excitement! |
